2007 Masters Tournament – Wrap Up

Cal on April 10th, 2007

Firstly the TV coverage. Channel 10 bought the rights this year, and I was hoping things would be different. Not really. They ended the coverage at 9am, no matter how many groups were left on the course. We missed live footage of several Australians on Saturday morning (Australian time), and didn’t know if Adam Scott had made the cut or not. Then on Sunday morning they do the same thing! Fortunately we got all of the final day’s coverage…

I wonder how many times Stuart Appleby will replay that shot on 12 that went into the creek.

What on earth happened to Adam Scott? +12 and T27. Admittedly he did move up 17 places on the last day, but he just does not seem to be able to do well in a major.

Geoff Ogilvy blew his chances on Saturday with an 81. Oh what could have been if he had shot around par that day. Looks like the gold shoes weren’t any help!
