Australians On Tour Wrapup - LPGA
So we’ve come to the end of the worlds’ main tours and it’s time to do a wrap up of what the Aussies managed to achieve this year. Aussie Golfer and TYIG have joined forces to bring you the good oil.
This week Aussie Golfer has done an excellent summary of the LPGA.
There’s no doubt the big story for the year in terms of Australian Women’s golf has come from Katherine Hull. She’s made a mockery of her previous years on the tour earning close to a million dollars. She finished 2nd on the weekend with lipped putt on 18 denying her a playoff berth. She won the Canadian Open in August and has finished in the Top 10, 4 of the 8 times since. Her ranking of 35th in the world will be a lot higher this time next year

She didn’t manage to take medallist honours, but a tie for second still comfortably gets Anna Rawson into the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida from 28th Nov 2007 to 2nd Dec 2007.

Anna Rawson shot a tournament-low 5-under par 67 to take a one-shot lead.
This week marks Rawson’s fourth attempt at qualifying for the LPGA Tour, and it looks like she is at least well on her way to the final qualifying tournament.
