The Masters 2008

Ah, it’s that time of year again when we get our hopes up, and dream of the possibility an Australian will win the one major that has so far eluded us. The Masters.
Going in to do battle on our collective behalf are:
Robert Allenby (14,16,18)
Stuart Appleby (10,17,18)
Aaron Baddeley (14,16,17,18)
Michael Campbell (2)
# Richard Green (12,17)
Peter Lonard (18)
Geoff Ogilvy (2,14,16,15,17,18)
Nick O’Hern (17,18)
Adam Scott (14,16,17,18)
# John Senden (13,18)
- The numbers in brackets denote how they qualified (see explanation).
- A # indicates they are playing their first Masters tournament.
- Michael Campbell is in there on the off chance he might just pull off a win. He, of course, then becomes an instantly naturalised Australian.
Favourite amongst the Australians would have to be Geoff Ogilvy (given his recent form) and Stuart Appleby (on last years effort). However I’m tipping Richard Green to be a bit of a dark horse here.
Who do you think will be the best placed Aussie, and will any of them win it this year?
