Entering the final round on 13 under and sharing the lead with John Riegger and Tag Ridings, Jason Day had a very ordinary day to shoot a 73. After his roller coaster third day, perhaps all the adrenalin had finally got to him.

Despite missing the cut, Nick Flanagan maintains his lead at the top of the money list by just under nineteen thousand US dollars.

Also missing the cut were Bradley Hughes, David Mckenzie, Steven Bowditch and Kim Felton.

2007 The Celtic Manor Wales Open

Cal on June 4th, 2007

After sharing the lead, and being well in contention at the end of Day 2, Brett Rumford basically bombed out as can be seen below. A wet course made for soft and receptive greens, but the Australians just couldn’t take advantage of the conditions.

On the second day, Adam Scott finally got his putter working and signed for a 62 […]
