Removing Loose Impediments On The Green

Look over your line to the hole when sizing up a putt. If there are loose impediments (twigs, leaves, stones, duck droppings…) you should remove them as they can throw your putt off considerably.
You can use a towel or hat to brush these away, you don’t just have to use your hand.
Pay close attention to any small debris near the hole.
