2006 Cadbury Schweppes Australian PGA Championship - Bits-n-Pieces
American Kevin Stadler finished the tournament down in 24th.
Pre-tournament favourites failed to live up to expectations with Geoff Ogilvy (13-under) finishing in joint-eighth with Stuart Appleby, defending champion Robert Allenby (10-under) in 16th and Adam Scott (six-under) in 32nd.
Appleby raised $210,000 for his junior golf foundation and beyondblue (ah-ha that’s why Jeff Kennett was there […]

Peter Lonard and Ryan Haller shot 7 under, whilst the old stager […]

2006 Cadbury Schweppes Australian PGA Championship - Day 2
Can Peter Lonard, winner here in 2002 and 2004, make 2006 his year as well? He shot seven under par today to make his total 11 under and take a one shot lead over current New Zealand Open champion Nathan Green, South Australian Wade Ormsby, New South Welshman Paul Gow and Queensland’s Rod Pampling. […]
2006 Cadbury Schweppes Australian PGA Championship - Day 1
James Nitties, runner up to Peter Lonard here in 2004, shot his best first round score; a 64. Afterwards he talked about how the last time he played here Bob Estes constantly made disparaging remarks about Nitties’s state of mind, and tried to rile him on the course with comments about rulings.
Could this now […]
