Ladies European Tour - Rookie of the Year

Congratulations to Nikki Garrett, winner of the 2006 Ryder Cup of Wales Rookie of the Year.
Despite having an 82 on her first professional round in Europe, Garrett ended the season with six top 10 finishes which included a third place finish at the Wales Ladies Championship of Europe and another third place at the SAS Masters.
Other Australians in the top 10 are Sarah Kemp - 3rd, Leah Hart - 6th and Anna Rawson - 7th.
All four will be back playing in Europe in 2007 and Australians will get to see them as they begin their seasons at the MFS Women’s Australian Open at Royal Sydney in February.
The question though is can they maintain that next year.
A lot of golfers don’t seem to do as well the second year. Perhaps a mental adjustment is needed.
