Cameron Percy has denied Marc Leishman back to back victories on the Von Nida Tour.

After last weeks win at the North Queensland X-Ray Services Cairns Classic, Leishman came into the final round 3 shots back from Shane Baxter (the leader after the 3rd round). Whilst Baxter wilted, Leishman was composed and more than made up the deficit. He didn’t see Percy coming though, and a fine 67 by Percy put him and Leishman (68) into a playoff.

They both birdied the first playoff hole (the 18th) and then got to do it again, with Percy sticking a five iron (after a 300m plus drive) to 1.5 metres, and wrapping up the win when Leishman failed to convert his putt.
