Limit Hip Turn On The Backswing

When making a back swing - avoid the temptation to turn your hips around in order to get more power.
Too much hip turn actually causes a loss of power as it prevents the top of your body coiling and forming resistance against your hips/lower body.
I like to keep my back knee slightly flexed and think about pushing down on the inside of the back foot. I then turn my shoulders on the back swing about twice the distance my hips turn, to create that coiled feeling.
