Use a New Golf Ball

Try to avoid playing with a ball that has been scraped or nicked.

The flight of the ball can be changed quite dramatically by these flaws.

If you go to hit an old ball across a water hazard, you are defeating yourself by thinking you may hit it into the water.

Give yourself every advantage.
